Do you get the title? Reee-view, Deee-View. That’s as cool as locker buddies!
Anyway, I finally got my hands on the Transformers DVD, and I thought I’d share my opinion of it in DVDeview form. Anyway, the DVD special edition is definitely the way to go if you’re a die-hard fan of the movie, but if you just really want the movie, go with the standard edition. The box looks great, with the DVD box itself just having Optimus Prime on the front and Megatron on the back, with a slidable cover that has Transformers 2-Disc Special Edition wrote on the side. Pretty sweet. The first disc has your movie and a commentary by Micheal Bay on there which is really nice. He even mentions Transformers 2. The second disc comes with all of the special features, divided into three sections: Our World, which covers the humans, Their War, which covers the robots, and More Than Meets the Eye, which covers the amazing Scorponok attack, trailers, and concept art. Overall, I loved the movie, I loved the DVD. I personally just loved watching the movie again without the #1 Most Annoying Person Sitting Next To Me. I heard jokes while watching the DVD I didn’t hear in the theater. They called the cube the AllSpark? (5 out of 5)

(Grade:B-)-This movie was a lot better than I expected. It follows Will Stanton, a regular average joe who discovers he is a member of a secret super-powered society creatively named “The Light” that is collecting 6 signs to defeat, guess who, “The Dark”, which is led by the once Heroes guest star who made this movie for me, Christopher Eccleston. He’s awesome! Anyway, the movie spanned about 1 and a half hours, which suits, but kinda felt dragged out in certain areas. It takes about 1 hour for him to get used to it. But the kid who plays the main character does a pretty good job. Although I could see this movie better if it had used a man as the main character. OVerall, this is a pretty solid movie for October.

My Favorite movie so far this year has been Transformers, mainly due to its kickbutt action, awesomeness, and Scorponok. But for those of you who didn’t get to see this awesome movie in theaters, here’s your chance to finally find out what you missed. The story follows Sam Witwicky, a regular teenage boy trying to get a cool car, pass high school, and get the girl of his dreams. That is, until he realizes his new car is a Autobot named Bumblebee on a mission to save the world along with the other Autobots. The DVD comes with a sweet cover for the Special Edition, but the regular edition could be better. Anyway, this DVD comes packed with special features, like
Commentary with Michael Bay
The Story Sparks
Human Allies
I Fight Giant Robots
Battleground
Rise of the Robots
Autobots Roll Out
Decepticon’s Strike
Inside the AllSpark
From Script to Sand: The Scorponock Attack
And Concept Art!
Overall, this looks like an awesome DVD for any fan of the movie to check out. I personally can’t wait to pop it into my DVD player and enjoy. I’ll leave my opinion of it in a comment on this post later. This DVD rolls out on DVD and HD DVD October 16.

(Grade:C-) This movie was pretty dissapointing. I first saw the preview during the Pursuit of Happyness. It looked pretty promising. It was just kinda boring. I didn’t really think that Adam Sandler did a good job, because the story didn’t make that much sense. Also, the lanquage is a little overbearing. They used the F word a lot and the sexual references were weird. OVerall, Reign Over Me was just dissapointing and I just didn’t really like it that much.

This is a new post series I’ll be doing covering the great DVDs of great shows or great movies. I hope you enjoy.
One of my favorite TV Shows is Heroes, a show where ordinary people get extrardinary abilities, and I personally cannot wait to get my hands on the Heroes Season 1 DVD. This bargain of a DVD set sells for as cheap as $40. The set will come wtih an extended pilot with a brand new hero, the engineer, who was later revised into Ted. Who was killed by Sylar. Go figure. It will also come with commentaries, behind the scenes, and much, much more. If your a Heroes fan, and you have $40 to spend, spend it on this bad boy.

(Grade:B) This was a total chick flick. But not a bad one. It tells the story of two women that, sick with their current love situations, that switch houses for Christmas and end up falling in love with the other woman’s close friend or brother. It has Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, and the best one of the bunch Jack Black. This is pretty straightforward romance with some occasional funny moments. As I said earlier, Jack Black is the best in his funny moments in the movie, and overall, despite some bad lanquage, it’s pretty good. A pretty good renter.

I am a pretty big fan of the Batman movies, and I am especially looking forward to the newest installment, the sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight. The movie will Bruce Wayne and his struggle to keep Gotham safe from The Joker and Two-Face. I am really psyched for this 2008 Movie, and to pass the time, here are some photos.

This is the Pirates 3 DVD Cover. I personally don’t like all of the blue, it’s too strong. It kinda looks like the old covers from 1974, that is except for the ships at the bottom. I liked the first two covers, but this one just doesn’t feel right. What happened to the posters! What about a collage with Jack and Davy fighting in the middle top, ol’ Sao and part of his crew to the far right, Will and Elizabeth to the far left, Tia Dalma in there somewhere, with Pintel and Ragetti in the mix too, with the ships at the bottom.

The Simpsons Movie-Although I have never been a fan of some of The Simpsons humor, some of the jokes in this new movie are just plain slap-the knee hillarious (See below). Although I’ll probably wait until this one hits DVD, this movie looks to be one of the funniest of the summer.
- “Spiderpig, Spiderpig, does whatever a Spiderpig does!”
- “I’m going to save people I only remotely care about for reasons I don’t know…See ya!”
I Know Who Killed Me-This movie will have Lindsay Lohan escaping from a maniac killer, and then thinks that her twin sister or something like that is still hostage. I don’t know, all I know is confusing movie make my head hurt and I’ll just stick to the old Austin Powers movies for my enjoyment. Yea Baby Yea!
No Reservations-This romantic comedy will have Catherine-Zeta Jones getting together with some other dude in a kitchen environment, but who cares when we have random Austin Powers quotes:
- Everyone, I’d like you to meet my Number Two man, “Number Two”.
- Don’t look at me like I’m Frankenstein, give your father a hug!
- Meet one of my assistants, Random Task. (Reference to Oddjob, a Bond Villain…..Think about it.)
- This is Fran, who created the militant wing of the Salvation army.
- We will hold the world ransom for-One Million dollars! (Dr. Evil, One Million dollars isn’t that much money anymore.) Okay…..One billion, kajillion, fe-fy-fo-fillion,……

(Grade:B+) Yea, I know I’m about…um…8 months off on this one, but I got a chance to rent this movie ,and I’m gonna tell the world my opinion! This movie follows Larry, a night guard who’s new job is more than he asked for when he finds out that the things in the museum he’s working at come to life at night! Ben Stiller does a pretty good job, not including a few moments. The best performance though, cam from Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke, and that other dude. The only thing I didn’t like like about it was how the tablet was making them young ,and that’s why they did something, I just didn’t quite like that plot twist. This movie is also very funny, with plenty of knee-slapping moments. Overall, this is a pretty good movie that almost anyone could enjoy with their family.
