The Following are great games that come from a great site called Emakins. Really this is just a way for me to get higher on their list of top linkers. But have no fear, the following are some great stuff.
Nuclear Eagle-A game where you are a special mutated eagle trying to protect her young from people with guns and rocket launchers, the game gets really fun when you’re able to throw cars.
Ignition-A pretty good game that gives you one minute to get from Point A to Point B, however, if you run out of time you get an extra 30 seconds per retry. Pretty good.
Qwerty Warriors 2-This is a pretty good typing action game where you have to fight off robots.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve put some stuff about Brawl, so this will make up for it. They’ve added a new character and a returning character, the Pokemon Trainer and Peach.

There is also something now called “The Footstool Jump”, which is basically jumping, and then jumping with perfect timing onto your opponent’s head. And whever used wheever your opponent is in midair, you will perform a meteor smash.
You can also now use weapons like the super scope while moving and jumping, which was a hassle last time when you had to reposition yourself to keep from falling off the edge while shooting.
Also, now you can perform combos by just holding down the attack button, or you can have fun with it and do a traditional rapid button press. Remember, the combos will be different varying by character, such as Fox doing a multi-jab or Metaknight just going all crazy with his sword.
There’s also a new recovery move called the tether. Whenever you start to fall to your death and your Up Special Move doesn’t help, you can simply start to do a grab and a tether will be extended to help you survive. Pretty handy. It will come standard for every character. There are also new perks and extras in the game like stickers, which you can collect and make collages out of. There have even been talks to make stickers out of screenshots that yuo can take.
Another new item is the “Franklin Badge”. This badge will protect you from Projectiles, but will fall off partway through the battle.
There is also a continuance with the video I hosted on my site from Gamespot where the stadium is beginning to be attacked by a strange force. Well this continues it with this next video. It basically just shows an army of minions called the Primid being led by the Ancient Minister. They plan on cutting apart the owrld and taking it into subspace. They will use detonating devices armed by robots to blow up said parts. In the video, they blow up the stadium. This looks to be a great, much deeper storyline than in Melee. Click here to go there to see the video. Just click on the picture on that page like the one I have above.
Finally they showed off Link’s famous special moves. They pretty much remain the same, except formed from Twlight Princess. Down-Bomb, Side-Gale Boomerang, Up-Sword Spin (which is now chargeable!), Standard-Hero’s Bow, Grab-Clawshot. Awesome.

Well, no really good games came out this week, so therefore, there will be no Game of the-Wait, Madden came out this week, didn’t it? Well, this week is pretty much hands-down since the only other competition is an RPG that isn’t Zelda. Anyway, the winner of Game of the Week is Madden NFL 08 from best to last versions from left to right.

Halo 3- You may not know this, but there’s a little game series out now called Halo, and just in case you don’t know, it’s newest installment comes out late in next month, September. The game is awesome. This time the Spartans are bringing in all kinds of new weapons and new possiblities for old ones. There’s the devastating Spartan Laser, the return of the rocket launcher, and possibly dual-wielding Energy Plasma Swords. There will be a new ATV vehicle, and tons and tons more. There will even be 4-player online co-op. This game is gonna rock!

Mariokart Wii-Mariokart is driving back through Nintendo with it’s newest installment, Mariokart Wii, which will probably have a different name closer to launch. The game will come with a wheel, and word is that the B trigger wil be used for powersliding. Although I don’t know much about this game, I do know that it will porbably be one of Nintendo’s heaviest hitters next year.

This is basically just a new category showing off all the coolest bands out today and some of their greatest music. Enjoy.
Â
One of the greatest bands out today is The Fray, a Piano/Indie/Alternative Rock band which is best known for their awesome single, How to Save a Life. The band started back in High School, where they then went on and made several great hit singles. Here are some of their greatest hits:
- She is
- All at Once
- How to Save Life
- Over my Head
I strongly recommend this band to anyone who wants to hear something new and exciting, and all 4 of the above songs are available on their CD, How to Save a Life (See picture below).

I think only fair that since today, August 14, the new Madden 08 was released, that I take a deeper look at the series. This touchdown of a series started way back when in 1985 with John Madden Football, a football game for the NES that was followed by sequels in 1988 and 1990. They then broke through and hit the big leagues with their classic series, Madden NFL, which started in 1994. They then kept on going with another installment in 95, 96, and on until this present day. The series has always been known to bring great football action, which we’ve never really been picky about. Throughout the years, along with the new installments, we’ve received new modes, new players, new teams, new extras, and so much more. Also, even if you have a consolke that’s been obsolete for 3 years, you’ll still be getting a Madden game. Madden is definitely the king of Multi-platforming. When it comes to the quality of the games, I think that Madden should stick to what it does best and keep on spitting out great games year after year, with maybe a few extras added on every now and then. I honestly don’t think Madden will lose it’s audience anytime soon.

Well, as we start to end te Summer game drought, we received some games that were good, and some that weren’t so good. We received a trailer full of regular old Megaman games, and the poor title Combat Mission:Shock Force. But although one game did get a bad score from Gamespot, it did et a good score from Game Informer, and its name is Boogie. With fun gameplay, great multiplayer, and cool modes, this game is Game of the Week.

BioShock-One of the coolest-looking games ever, BioShock is quickly approaching our Xbox 360s with it’s August 21 release date nearing. The game allows you to explore the underwater metropolis using insane power-ups. You will have several neat powers, from electricity to fire, all able to use with incredibly interactive environments. For example, you’re being attacked by a crazy doctor standng in a pool of water, you then electrocute the water he’s standing in and beat him down. This is actually one of the boss fights in the game. This amazing game will hit stores August 21.

The Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion:Game of the Year Edition-The widely popular, critically acclaimed Oblivion is heading back to whereever this gme takes place for a second go round with this Game of the Year edition, although it pales in comparison to The Legend of Zelda which beat its butt in Game of the Year, it is a pretty good game. This gam will be sure to be bringing tons of fun gameplay with tons of more extras, sidquests, and more when it comes out in September.
Flatout:Ultimate Carnage-The Flatout series is sending it’s poor drivers throughthe windshields again with Ultimate Carnage, the new addition to the series coming to the 360. The game kinda reminds me of Burnout, with wrecks a plenty. There will be, of course, the awesome ragdoll physics that brought us to the series in the first place, and it looks to jus to bring us some great, mindless fun.The Reviews have been great, so be sure to pick this one up when it crashes into stores on September 4, 2007.

One of Nintendo’s greatest series is The Legend of Zelda. Anyone who knows anything about the Video game industry has at least heard of someone who has heard of The Legend of Zelda. The series started way back when on the NES as most Nintendo classics did in 1986. They the nwent on to make several, and I mean several sequels.
- The Adventure of Link-1987
- A Link to the Past-1991
- Link’s Awakening-1993
- Ocarina of Time-1998
- Majora’s Mask-2000
- Oracle of Seasons-2001
- Oracle of Ages-2001
- Four Swords-2002
- The Wind Waker-2003
- Four Swords Adventure-2004
- The Minish Cap-2004
- Twilight Princess-2006
- Phantom Hourglass-October 2007
It would probably take me 5 pages to type up every single storyline, but basically it follows Link, a farmboy saving the kingdom of Hyrule from Ganondorf or some other evil being, but most of the time, it’s Ganondorf. The games have always been known to do extremely well, with Ocarina of Time topping out several lists as “The Best Game Ever”. I don’t think there’s ever been a bad Zelda game. Yep, the Zelda games will always be known as some of the greatest games of all time. And with Phantom Hourglass for the DS coming this October and another Zelda game possibly in the works for the Wii, it looks like this series is still strong as ever after 20 years. I think Nintendo should just do what it does best, and keep on cranking out quality Zelda games every 2-3 years, I mean, you don’t want to end up like Megaman who has a bad game that comes out every week.

One great thing about Brawl is the characters, and below are screenshots of each character, in action during regular gameplay and then during their Final Smash Attack, and below, I will name off their Final Smash Attack. Note:These will be used in actual gameplay, in other words, if you collect that certain icon, you will be doing these awesome manuevers. The right picture is the Final Smash Attack. Some do not have a Final Smash Attack…….yet.

Click here to see the controls for each method. As promised, here are the names of the Final Smash Attacks.
- Mario-Mario Finale
- Link-TriForce Strike
- Pikachu-Volt Tackle
- Fox- Reflector
- Samus-Zero Laser
- Bowser-Giga Bowser
- Donkey Kong-Konga Blast
- Wario-Wario Chopper (Motorcycle)

Also, like in Melee, you will be able to put your name in and use it in Multiplayer, which will be really important this time because when you do that you can also tell it your button configuration as well and it will remember that, there’s even been talks of being able to save that to the Wiimoteso you can play as your button config. at a friend’s house.

(9.25/10.00) Well, Mario has come back to his RPG roots with the original title Super Paper Mario, and just think, this one started out as a Gamecube title! The surprisingly deep story for a Mario game tells of a world that Mario has come to save where the evil Count Bleck is trying to use his Chaos Heart to destroy all worlds and create a new better world. So Mario has to go world to world through all 8 worlds to collect the Pure Hearts. The storyline is more than that however, and unfolds gradually into a large, somewhat Lord of the Rings style throughout the 15-hour adventure. Throughout the game you will run into your buddies Bowser, Peach, and Luigi, and be able to use their unique abilities to get past puzzles. Bowser-fire breath, Peach-Shield/Umbrella jump, Luigi-super jump. Speaking of unique abilities, one very cool thing in this game is the ability to switch from 2-D to 3-D with a press of a button. It will be able to get you through a lot of situations. Once you’ve beaten a level, you can come back to it and replay it which makes for some great replay value for hardcore old-school Mario fans, which is basically what this game is. You go world to world, level to level stompin’ Goombas and trying to get to the end with a boss at the end of every world. That, plus items which implement the use of the Wii’s motion-sensing. Another thing this game excels at is the humor. This is a pretty funny game, from moments the Nerd-boss Francis obsessing over Peach being a “hot babe” or Bowser telling people to get out of the way or he’ll squish them. You can play through the numerous boss battles with each character, with the dialogue in the cutscenes varying who you’re playing as. The only problem I had with this game was it was a little too easy at times, me beating the Count Bleck on my first try. That and sometimes the Wii motion-sensing tasks felt a little silly, but were still fun. Overall, at 15 hours long this is a great game for anyoe whose looking for a good summer play or who wants a game to hold them over until Metroid or Galaxy comes out.

Ok, you guys have to check out this new site that I found, click here to go there. Get ready, because this site has tons of info on the game. It’s the Official site of the game, Reggie, the U.S. Head of Nintendo said so in the E3 Press Conference so it’s legit.
I hope you weren’t too excited for Metaknight, because now he isn’t in the game, instead, we have IKE! He’s from Fire Emblem and with his mighty sword he can crush any opponent!

It also lists all of the new and returning characters, including Pit, Wario, Zero Suit Samus, Ike, Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Samus, Zelda, Bowser, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong, which probably means that Snake, Metaknight, and most of the new characters from Melee-Game and Watch, Mewtwo, Falco, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Young Link, Jigglypuff, and more are being shoved out leaving the classic characters to duke it out, which is good news because I found that with all of those characters, there wasn’t that much variety, and now with only 14 Characters, develops will probably have more time to work on each character. Also, they have unveiled The Subspace Emmisary, which is basically their adventure mode. It will be a side-scrolling action game where each character will go through an in-depth adventure, have to deal with problems and burdens, and more. I am so Psyched!

Also, I have found out the secret to the Super Attacks, called Final Smashes. They will be in an item form, and when grabbed, the character will pull off an awesome move.

Speaking of itemes, on this site they show off all of the items so far shown making an appearance in the game. Including the gooey bomb-a bomb that sticks to people, the infamous bumper, cracker launcher, crates and barrels, banana peel, pitfall-think cartoons where they threw the black hole, and smokebomb.

Another thing is the new stages, there are several new and returning, redesigned stages, there will be the return of Yoshi’s story, Fox’s stage, Battlefield, Delfino Plaza, Lylat Cruise, Smashville, Rumble Falls, Skyworld, and Castle Siege, and Field of Eldin, Twilight Princess. These environments will have plenty of surprises and are full of detail.

As mentioned earlier, there are four different ways to play-Wiimote sideways, Wiimote/Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or Gamecube controller, which I’ll probably be most comfortable with. It looks like Nintendo has put tons and tons and tons of detail into this game, I know I said I’ve been waiting 6 years, but it looks like they were 6 years well spent! The graphics look absolutely amazing, the items fun, and most of all the game awesome!
