Transformers

Before I start this review I must set one of my pet peeves out on the line. The person sitting to the left of me two seats over from me was a hyena…a pottymouthed hyena. I can understand if you’re enjoying the movie, but if it sounds like you’re trying to pass a kidney stone and you’re saying the “s word” and “ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” as much as someone who is passing one, you need to, as Dr. Evil said, “Take it down a notch.”. Â
(Grade:A+) You know how people come out of a movie saying what the most awesome part is? Well, there are so many, that I can’t pick one. The story follows the Autobots and Decepticons coming to Earth to find the All Spark, an energy source to save their planet. The special effects are just plain gorgeous, and the battle scenes are epic, long enough, and variative, my favorite being the scorponok battle in Qatar. The voice acting is also very cool, and the performances by Shia Lebouf, John Turturro, and Megan Fox are great.
And I am definitely looking forward to a sequel with it showing Starscream getting away in the credits. This movie could also not just be called an action, but it’s a comedy. Anderson and his “cousin” provide a hillarious performance, and so do Bernie Mac, Shia, and even the Transformers. Overall, if you see this movie and do not enjoy it, you really need to consider what things you do enjoy.
