Blades of Glory
 
(Grade:A-) John Heder has done it again, and Will Ferrel has done it for the first time. I am referring to them starring in a movie that I thought was genuinely funny. As you probably don’t know, “Talladega Nights:The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” was a huge dissapointment to me, and none of Ferrel’s other movies have made me laugh as hard as this one. John Heder has also done well in my eyes in the past:The Benchwarmers, Napolean Dynamite, etc. This movie tells the story of Chaz Micheal Micheals and Jimmy Macaroy, two arch-nemesees skaters who, after being banned from singles, join together to win in doubles, making possibly the funniest movie of the year. Other than the not-as-bad-as-I-expected-it-to-be cussing and other inappropriate content, this is one of the best movies of the year.

I am not as keen on you getting Messanger as I used to be, but you still should so I can send you crap. Now for the real part of the comment…
“Other than…inappropriate content”? Does that mean the you would give Barney: The Movie an A ? You choose, however, to go to a movie theater. Therefore, it’s your fault for what you see.
I should write newspaper articles.
Also, there is a new Get a Mac ad that talks about how PCs usually come with useless trial software (Buy this! Buy this!) pre-installed, or as Lames calls it, a “crap-puter”.

Well Colt, no, I would not give Barney the Movie an A because I grade movies on the content, because that’s what’s in a movie. I will consider a movie “good” if it is original, fun, etc. but I will deduct if a movie has several profanities, a nudity scene, scenes of sexual innuendo, etc.. On what you said at the end of the comment, yes, it was wrong of me to go see that since I knew it was going to have that, but it is also wrong of them to put that in a movie. And on you’re comment: “It’s only inappropriate if it’s in public”, that’s completely false. Just because gangsters cuss like sailors, do drugs, kill other gangsters, etc. in private, does that make it right?
