This month was truly a great month for video games. You had the release of NBA Street Homecourt, the long-awaited Motorstorm, and you also had the release of great games like Burnout Dominator, G.R.A.W. 2, and Earth Defense Force 2017. But since this was such a colossal month , I thought I would break it down into the top 5.
5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007-This got the #5 slot because of its great Wii gameplay, its smooth and fun controls, and of course, Tiger Woods.
4. The Eler Scrolls 4:Oblivion for the PS3-This slightly worse graphical on the PS3 comapred to the 360 version R.P.G. still makes a great impression.
3. NBA Street Homecourt-this great basketball game brings the fun back old-school.
2. Motorstorm-This edge-of-your-seat racer still makes us wet ourselves on that first jump! (Or is that just me?)
1. Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2-This team futuristic shooter brings us all the fun of shootin’ stuff! Kinda’ reminds me of Back to the Future, that is, the future stuff…..fire up the time machine Doc!

This was an old post series I had just started back on my old site, and I really enjoyed doing it, so…..With the new Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion expansion coming out this past week, the few Oblivion nerds reading this would want me to give it to Shivering Isles, but…..I deided to give it to Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell:Double Agent for the PS3. I have played the Ps2 version, and I’ll assume the PS3 version is just as good, except prettier. This game is also fun because you get to shoot security guards after you tell them they won’t be hurt if they tell you what you want to hear…..before they have a chance to say anything. And it’s also pretty fun to reinact Bob and Steve moments…..”I’m bored, ooooohhh, pretty light! (Alarm Sounds) Whoops.”

Heroes tells the story of “ordinary people receiving extraordinary powers”. I really love this show because it not only tells the story of people getting powers, it also shows those people dealing with the consequences, losses and difficulties that come with it. Below are most of the heroes, their stories, and their powers. Note:There are other Heroes, I just named a few here.  *Spoiler Alert*
- Peter Petrelli-a man with the ability to absorb powers has gotten him into an “explosive” situation.
- Nathan Petrelli-Peter’s brother who is determined to win his election and keep his flying power a secret.
- Claire Bennet-a cheerleader whose power of invulnerability has turned her world upside down, along with meeting her real mother, a fire starter, and her secret father, Nathan.
- The Haitan-a mysterious man with the ability to clear minds who has started to have thoughts of his own.
- Claude-a once-employee of the evil organization kidnapping and experimenting on Heroes, he has “disappeared” from the plotline once again.
- Hiro Nakimura-a time-bender on a mission to save the world.
- Issac Mendez-a future-painter that was caught up in a deadly love triangle.
- Sylar-a so-called hero, the villain of the show, who takes hero’s brains and uses them and steals their powers.

(9.50/10.00)Â Do you remeber me saying that Ratchet and Clank 3 was my Favorite Game of All Time? Well, if you didn’t scroll down. Anyway, I played that one before I played this one. And there’s really not that big of a difference. There’s still great graphics, and some nice explosions, and of course there’s the hillarious storyline, but unlike the 3rd one, this ne doesn’t pause when you go to the quick access weapon-screen, but that is a minor complaint. This still is a great game, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a fun gaming experience.

When you think of movie games, you usually tend to think of “bad games”, and in most cases, this is true, however, there are a few exceptions that come along every millenium that could possibly change our views. Here are some of the best bets for the best movie game this year. (Sorry Shrek 3 isn’t here, I couldn’t find any pictures or info, man, I know that one’s going to be great!)
Spiderman 3
The Spiderman movie games have been sort of the alpha dog of movie games in the past couple of years, and this is most likely due to the crucial “fun factor” quality in these games, and this new one looks to be no exception. There will be certain “gang missions” in this new installment, along with a plathera of villains:Scorpion, The Lizard, Sandman, VENOM!, and the New Goblin. The graphics look completely awesome, and I can’t wait to play around in the Venom suit. And by “play around in the Venom suit” I mean run around my neighborhood dressed up in my own version of it!

Pirates of the Carribean III:At World’s End
Unlike the Spiderman Games, the P.O.T.C. games haven’t really met with the same success. (Superheroes are more fun than Pirates, whoda’ thunk?) But maybe, just maybe, this one can break it’s mold and join the ranks up there with Spiderman thanks to its hopefully-unique combat system, the cool old-school versus multiplayer mode inc. Davy Jones, and…..Captain Jack Sparrow!

Transformers
I’ll admit it: I don’t really know that much about the upcoming game…..but that’s the kinda funny part, because this segment is just like Transformers-MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!!!!! I’m hillarious.

Well, I capitalized the “B” because of Colt, but I made this post because the show is awesome! The show follows Adam Savage and Jamie Hynneman, (and the build team), set out on a mission to seperate fact from fiction. They go around, busting our greatest mysteries, like:”Could a penny dropped from the Empire State Building kill?-BUSTED!” And much. much, more! I highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys fun with science, and by fun I mean finding reasons to drop a crash-test dummy from dangerous heights.

(Grade:A) When I was watching this movie, when I wasn’t hysterically laughing, I realized something. That this movie isn’t about some long plot, or something else intriquing or important, this movie was just about having fun, and I think I would rather go see a movie like this than a movie like Blood Diamond. This movie is just one of those movies you go to see with your buddies to have a good time. This is probably going to be the funniest movie of the year to me, I don’t know if it was the weird scene of them having to sleep on the same mattress together…..With one of them naked, or if it was them skinny-dipping in another family’s pool, but I thought it was pretty good besides the bad lanquage, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

(Grade:A+) Back when I was on pen2u.com, the rynocierator of blogs, I had the Best of 2006 awards, and Resistance:Fall of Man got Best Video Game and this movie got Best Movie. If you have ever seen this movie, you would understand why. This movie tells the story of Chris Gardner, a man who has lost his wife and his home, but he hasn’t lost his son, and that’s what keeps him hanging on. He goes on and on, trying to get a job and make ends meet so he can get the best life for him, but most importantly, his son. This movie s so powerful, so emotional, so good,…..in my case, reduce you to tears, because you had something in your eye…..and your contact was messing up. Will Smith does better in this movie acting wise than he has ever done in any of his other movies or tv shows put together! You have to see this movie!

(10.00/10.00) I thought I would start off this new site with the review of my (so far) favorite game of all time! I am a huge fan of the Ratchet and Clank series, and this one was definitely the best overall! You play, of course, as Ratchet, a lombax who is on a mission with his buddy Clank to stop the Solanic galaxy from being overthrown by the evil Dr. Nefarious, a robotic villian who’s life goal is to rid the universe of the organic lifeforms (squishies). The graphics in this game are beautiful, you can see every hair on Ratchet’s tail. This game also sounds really well, each explosion having a different boom! to it. As with any Insomniac game, the weapons can range from “Well, that was kinda cool” to “Holy Moley, did I just turn him to dust!!!!!” This game is ablast to play and I recommend it to anyone that wants to have a good time.
